Dr. Nahlawi specializes in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He attended Damascus University School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria and graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine in 1993. He then completed his internship and residency with Cleveland Clinic in 1998 and went on to complete his cardiology fellowship with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL in 2001. Dr. Nahlawi also completed his interventional cardiology fellowship with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 2007.

Dr. Nahlawi is board certified in nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology.
